Use these questions to guide your thinking about evangelism and outreach.
1. What do ministry organizations do to reach beyond their walls to people in the surrounding community, in the state, in the county and in the world? Keep in mind that you can choose a church, ministry or temple website to reflect on for this assignment.
2. Investigate procedures and plans used by other faiths traditions to share their message with the community, nation, and world. To do this, you can talk to people of other faith traditions. You can also look for information on the internet. For instance, the Vatican has an excellent site that people can subscribe to. Each denomination has a home page for their headquarters. You can look at some of those as an option. You can even go visit a service.
3. In you paper, share ways these ministry organizations are using techniques to reach others more effectively.

If anyone is out and about on a weekend getaway towards Palm Desert. Check out Southwest Community Church on a Saturday night at 5:00 p.m. or a Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. Their worship service will blow your mind and their speakers are amazing. I visited a few weeks ago and was amazed about how they are reaching out to their community and the world. You have to visit their concert live worship cafe to get the full experience. You can just feel God’s presence there! Check out their website and podcasts too for their upcoming events and messages. You can even sponsor a child in Brazil or go there yourself on a mission. Very contagious and cool for all ages.
