Several people asked me if it was possible to post a picture in your blog. The answer is yes. After looking at several of your blogs I noticed many of you did upload a picture from your computer, then drag the tiny little thumbnail into a post. That is one way to do it, if you only want a little thumbnail size photo. Here are the steps for doing it a second way.
1. Create a flickr account.
2. Upload the pictures you would like into your flickr account. They offer a "Drag and Drop" upload tool which makes it very easy to upload the pictures.
3. Make sure the permissions are set to public.
4. Copy the link location of the picture. This is usually done by right-clicking on the picture and selecting "copy shortcut", or "copy link location" depending on your browser.
5. Start a post and click on the insert image button (the button with tree).
6. Paste the link location, and you are done.
Mess around with it and see if you are able to post a picture on your blog – one that is not a thumbnail.
Remember that the more pictures that you have posted, the slower your blog will load. This is not a problem for users with broadband, but it is something to keep in mind.
Take care.
